What is clinical supervision/consultation?

Clinical Supervision: a legal relationship wherein the clinical supervisor is legally responsible for the clients being seen by the supervisee, typically this happens during a psychotherapist’s formal graduate training and practicum experiences.
 

Clinical Consultation: a mentoring relationship where the consultee seeks guidance voluntarily as an ongoing part of professional and personal development, and maintenance of ethical competency.
